Darren Camilleri Mizzi joined the firm as a trainee in 2016.
After obtaining his Bachelor of Laws degree – LLB (Hons.)(Melit.) from the University of Malta in 2016, Darren successfully obtained a Masters in Advocacy Degree – M.Adv(Melit.) from the same University the following year. In the course of his studies at the University of Malta, he submitted a dissertation entitled “The Role of the Settlor in a Trust – Specifically in Terms of Maltese Law”.
He was successfully admitted to the Maltese Bar in 2018, and after went on to read for an additional Masters Degree in Medical Law – (LL.M)(Lond.) from Queen Mary University of London, submitting a dissertation entitled “Clinical Trials in the EU: Are Human Participants Adequately Protected, and are Ethical Values Adequately Represented in the Law?”.
As part of his role within CP, Darren has been assigned work in various practice areas within the Regulatory, EU and Litigation team – including gaming, public procurement, data protection, aviation, litigation and medical.
