Francesca joined Camilleri Preziosi as a Trainee in June 2008. In 2010, she graduated as Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta after submitting her thesis on the establishment of a regulatory framework for Islamic banking in Malta. She also pursued studies at the University of Tor Vergata at Rome, as part of the Erasmus exchange programme.
Francesca was appointed Junior Associate in 2011 and Associate in 2014.
Her main areas of practice are corporate and financial services litigation, insolvency, corporate law, insurance (both regulatory and transactional), and general commercial law. She has also been involved in M&A transactions.
Francesca also forms part of the firm’s litigation team and typically handles matters which involve corporate or financial services, as well as litigation elements, particularly where the matter has a cross-border element. She has also been involved in a number of matters involving the enforcement of foreign judgments, both locally and abroad.
