Katya is an Associate nad her main areas of practice are public procurement, competition and EU law, employment and pensions, and dispute resolution.
Katya was recruited as a trainee with the firm in 2015.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2014, Katya later completed the degree of Doctor of Laws at the University of Malta in 2017, successfully defending a thesis entitled entitled ‘Hate Speech and the Freedom of Expression – is the legislation of the High Contracting Parties in line with ECHR principles?’. She was admitted to the bar in 2018 and is currently pursuing a degree in Masters in Law (LL.M) in European and Comparative Law at the University of Malta which is due to end in 2020.
