Kyra joined the firm as a trainee in 2015.
Kyra completed the degree of Doctor of Laws at the University of Malta in 2017, successfully defending a thesis entitled ‘Shadow Banking: Is there a case for regulation? Subsequently, she graduated with an LLM degree in Law and Economics from Utrecht University in The Netherlands in July 2018. During her studies, she has focused primarily on Financial Regulation with particular focus on retail investment funds and personal pension funds - her final LLM thesis comprised of a comparative review and a normative analysis of the UCITS fund and the Pan-European Personal Pension Product (PEPP).
As part of the CP training programme, Kyra has been assigned work in various practice areas ranging from Financial Services Regulation to Banking and Corporate Law matters. She intends on furthering her professional career principally in the areas of Financial and Investment Services Regulation.
