We are seeking to recruit an IT Support professional who will act as the first line of technical assistance to our workforce.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Provide user support by assisting non-technical users in understanding and resolving technical problems.
- Maintain the firm’s IT systems and perform routine maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
- Manage user accounts and access rights, including creating, updating and removing user accounts as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions and processes.
- Liaise with external IT support providers when required.
Experience and skills required
- A Diploma or Degree in IT or a related field
- At least 1-3 years of experience in an IT support environment
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative as well as in a team
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good problem-solving skills with a patient and methodical approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
