Jasmine forms part of the ADR and Dispute Resolution team, with particular focus on corporate and financial litigation. Jasmine therefore assists clients in cases filed before the Commercial Section of the Civil Court. Together with the Financial, Regulatory & Compliance team, Jasmine also assists in appeals filed before the Financial Services Tribunal from decisions taken by the authorities and/or the financial regulator. Her more recent experience includes assistance to creditor companies in the filing of judicial proceedings requesting the liquidation and winding up of debtor companies, assistance to local banks including in the filing of judicial proceedings for the recovery of debts due in terms of factoring agreements, as well as in defending a claim for damages allegedly arising as a consequence to a hacking or phishing attack.
