Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and skilled lawyer to join our dynamic dispute resolution legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in complex legal challenges and contribute to significant projects within the industry.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Actively participate in managing complex disputes across various sectors, including civil and commercial law, representing clients before the Maltese Courts, various Tribunals, or in Arbitration.
- Assist in negotiations and settlements to effectively resolve disputes.
- Provide comprehensive legal advisory services to clients regarding civil, public and commercial law matters.
- Work closely with technical advisers on major projects and claims to address both legal and practical challenges.
- Manage client relationships and collaborate with other team members, under the supervision of the partners responsible for Dispute Resolution practice areas.
- Assist with the drafting and negotiation of contracts to ensure compliance and protect client interests.
- Liaise with professional advisors and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct thorough legal research on various legal issues and provide consolidated legal opinions on client inquiries.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or necessary.
Qualifications & Skill Set
- A warranted lawyer with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, drafting and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Deadline driven, with a proactive approach.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A keen interest in learning, growing, and advancing in the legal field.
