Safe Technology Starts with Awareness – Here’s How CP are Contributing

Securing a safer tomorrow merits a discussion with our next generation on digital safety and the legal frameworks that protect us online. These conversations foster a sense of responsibility and instil the values of safe, informed, and ethical technology use amongst our children – and more importantly parts a message that safe use starts with every one of us.

At Camilleri Preziosi, we firmly believe that open, mature dialogue with younger generations is not just valuable, it is essential. That is why we are proud to support initiatives that bring these conversations into educational settings. Sharon Xuereb recently had the pleasure of engaging with students at St Paul’s Missionary College, raising awareness on safe online practices and the legal implications of our increasingly digital world. The discussions covered a broad range of topics, including responsible use of software and online platforms, a general awareness of the legal landscape governing technology, and the implications of emerging technologies, including the use of Artificial Intelligence for research and the generation of user content.

As AI continues to reshape how we learn, communicate, and create, it is more important than ever to equip younger generations with the knowledge and tools to use these systems safely and responsibly. Small initiatives like this one are how we begin to build a future of trustworthy, ethical technology. Camilleri Preziosi remains committed to this cause and looks forward to further planned initiatives in this space.Thank you to the school for this invitation and to Minimum Viable Compliance and Michael Camilleri for the collaboration.
