On 15th March 2019, the European Commission published further revised drafts of two supplementing regulations to the new EU Prospectus Regulation (EU Regulation 2017/1129). The draft supplementing regulations and their respective annexes prescribe rules and regulatory technical standards relating to:
- The format, content, scrutiny and approval of prospectuses (a copy of this draft supplementing regulation is available here and a copy of its annexes is available here); and
- The key financial information in the summary of a prospectus, the publication and classification of prospectuses, advertisements for securities, supplements to a prospectus and the notification portal (a copy of this draft supplementing regulation is available here and a copy of its annexes is available here).
The revised draft supplementing regulations and their annexes are expected to enter into force alongside the EU Prospectus Regulation on the 21st July 2019.
