On 22 October 2018 the Budget for the Malta Budget 2019 was presented to the Parliament of Malta. The main theme of the Budget was the further creation and support of local business and foreign direct investment, the improvement and creation of a number of social and affordable housing measures and the introduction of certain anti-tax avoidance measures.
