Camilleri Preziosi is organising a half day conference on anti-money laundering and data protection – UNLOCKING NEW AML AND GDPR OBLIGATIONS: FRIENDS OR FOES? – on the 9th of March 2018 between 14:00 and 18:00. Networking drinks will follow.
The Conference will focus on how subject persons can manage and balance the conflicting objectives of the anti-money laundering and data privacy regimes, in the course of navigating through a challenging regulatory landscape which is constantly evolving. Our three breakout sessions will consider the need for subject persons to juggle anti-money laundering and data privacy compliance obligations together with other sector-specific legislation, such as the Second Payment Services Directive in the case of credit and financial institutions, and the evolving gaming regulatory framework for land-based and remote gaming entities. AI and robotics, coupled with developments in the crypto currencies world, are also impacting data protection and AML trends and will be the focus of a third breakout session.
Speakers and panelists will include members of the firm’s Corporate & Finance practice group, regulatory bodies, credit institutions, gaming operators, and other key exponents in the field.
If you would like to book your seat, kindly download and fill in the registration form.
