The expansion and growth of the firm sees the year 2008 opening with the appointment of Marisa Azzopardi, Laragh Cassar and Adrian Mallia as Senior Associates at the firm. Their appointment comes after a number of years of committed and outstanding service.
Marisa joined the firm in 2001 as a trainee, becoming an associate in 2003. She has worked principally in Dispute Resolution and remains a mainstay in the firm’s Litigation Unit as the principal litigator at non-partner level.
Laragh has been appointed as senior associate in the Corporate & Banking group, also responsible for Financial Markets and Products. Laragh first joined the firm as an associate in 2003 and has worked principally in banking and finance and in financial markets. In 2007, she was the associate responsible for the privatisation of Maltapost plc and the initial public offering of Crimsonwing plc. Adrian joined the firm as a trainee in 2003 and became an associate soon after, in 2004.
Adrian forms part of the Competition Law and Regulatory Team and his main area of competence within the firm is Competition and Anti-Trust law.
