Camilleri Preziosi was invited by the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for International, European and Regulatory Procedural Law to submit the Maltese National Report as part of the European Commission study on the impact of national procedural laws and practices in the area of mutual trust and the free circulation of judgements. The article explores the impact of Maltese law on civil and commercial cross-border disputes as well as the procedure for the recognition and enforcement of cross-border judgements. It also outlines the application in Malta of pertinent EU legal instruments in the context of debt collection.
