Camilleri Preziosi Maintains Leading Position in Chambers and Partners Europe Guide 2026

We are pleased to announce that the firm has once again secured prominent recognition in the Chambers and Partners Europe Guide 2026, consolidating our standing as one of Malta’s foremost legal practices. The latest edition of the Guide confirms our continued Band 1 ranking in General Business Law, while also recognising the firm in the Shipping category at Band 3. Across all practice areas, our partners have achieved distinguished individual rankings, a reflection of the calibre of our teams and the confidence placed in us by our clients and peers.

In the area of General Business Law, the firm has sustained its position at the pinnacle of the rankings, retaining its Band 1 status for yet another year. This enduring recognition is a testament to the breadth and quality of our offering across the full range of business law disciplines. With all of our partners achieving notable individual rankings, the Guide continues to affirm the collective strength and versatility that define our practice.

Our Corporate and Commercial practice continues to command the highest levels of recognition, with four partners ranked in the 2026 Guide. Louis de Gabriele and Malcolm Falzon have each been placed in Band 1, underscoring their pre-eminence in the corporate sphere, while Aaron Galea Cavallazzi and Donald Vella are recognised in Band 2. The breadth of our ranked practitioners in this discipline reflects the depth of capability and the comprehensive advisory service that the team delivers across the full spectrum of corporate and commercial matters.

The firm’s Dispute Resolution practice has further cemented its reputation as a leading force in contentious matters in Malta. Marisa Vella, who heads the practice, has been recognised in Band 1, while Louis de Gabriele has been ranked in Band 2 and Kristina Rapa Manche in Band 3. The inclusion of three partners in this category is a clear endorsement of the team’s rigorous, client-focused approach and its capacity to handle complex and high-stakes disputes with precision and resolve.

In Financial Services, the firm has achieved notable progress in the 2026 rankings. Louis de Gabriele and Malcolm Falzon are both ranked in Band 1, with Malcolm Falzon’s elevation from Band 2 reflecting the growing recognition of his contribution to this sector. Andrei Vella and Andrew Caruana Scicluna are each ranked in Band 2, with Andrew Caruana Scicluna also advancing from his previous Band 3 position. These upward movements underscore the team’s expanding influence and its ability to deliver sophisticated, forward-looking counsel in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.

Our Intellectual Property and TMT practice has continued to earn recognition in the Guide, with Steve Decesare featured in the Spotlight category. This acknowledgment highlights the team’s specialist capability in advising clients on the protection and commercialisation of intellectual property rights, as well as its growing role in addressing the legal challenges arising from technological advancement and digital transformation.

The firm’s Shipping practice has also been recognised in the 2026 Guide, with the firm ranked in Band 3 and Steve Decesare individually ranked in Band 2, an advancement from Band 3 in the previous edition. This progression reflects the team’s increasing prominence in the maritime sector and its commitment to providing authoritative and commercially astute advice to clients operating in this specialised field.

Our Tax practice, led by partners Donald Vella and Kirsten Debono Huskinson, continues to be recognised in the Chambers and Partners Europe Guide 2026, with both partners ranked in Band 2. The team’s ability to deliver incisive tax advice within a broader legal and commercial framework remains central to its value proposition, enabling clients to navigate complex fiscal matters with clarity and confidence.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our clients, colleagues, and peers whose trust and support have been instrumental in achieving these results. These rankings are a reflection not only of the expertise of our partners but also of the dedication and professionalism of our entire team.

We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of legal service and to continuing to deliver excellence across all areas of our practice.
